§04  The Read

The soft benchmark hides real firming in Nebraska, where demand reads very good against light supply. Strength sits in the Nebraska markets while the top-end regions still hold near 200. With hay stocks at 23.3M tons tightening versus a year ago, the underlying tone looks firmer than the headline suggests.
